Fiber Glass Industries lands National Grid grant

National Grid is the largest distributor of natural gas in the Northeast. It has 3.3 million customers in New York New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island

Details about the grant were not released Wednesday in advance of a news conference scheduled for Thursday.

Fiber Glass Industries is adding 25,000 square feet to its 69 Edson St. plant. The capital investment incentive grant will be used to offset the cost for construction of gas and electric facilities supporting the plant’s expansion.
