Ngwenya Glass will exhibit all its products at South Africa’s premier hotel and catering expo known as Hostex.
Ngwenya Glass will showcase their ever-popular growing range of hospitality tableware during the expo which will run from Sunday until Wednesday next week.
Ngwenya Glass’ unique creations which vary from vases and tableware to jugs and ornamental African animals have been the marvel of the truckloads of tourists that visit Ngwenya Glass every year.
The local business currently supplies a majority of South African private lodges and hospitality establishments.
Ngwenya Glass Director, Kathy Preetejohn said the expo would be attended by top buyers and the who’s who of the hospitality industry.
“We do this annually and also do several shows internationally,” she added.
The Hostex has a proven reputation for providing the best opportunity for face-to-face product promotion in the hospitality industry for the last 25 years. Independent research conducted this year shows that Hostex is valued by exhibitors as a unique showcase for the hospitality and catering industries. This role is enhanced through what exhibitors see as a well-run show at a suitable venue that delivers a quality audience.
With 12 000m² of floor space, Hostex 2011 attracts visitors from Botswana, Zambia, Swaziland, Namibia and Mozambique, and as far afield as Italy and Germany. The Hostex 2009 event has more than exceeded expectations, with 223 exhibitors, 11 475 trade visitors and 1 440 hospitality students and was completely sold out.
As South Africa’s international hospitality and catering exhibition and the largest and longest running exhibition of its kind in Africa, Hostex has been an integral part of the local foodservice and hospitality sector since 1986.
