Company has yet to confirm how many employees fired
Tough times have resulted in the closure of a glass factory in Regina.
On Friday a notice went up on the doors of AGC Flat Glass, located in the city's east end, that "challenging business conditions" had forced the company to close down.
Sources have told News Talk Radio that as many as 50 people have been laid off; the company has not confirmed that number.
AGC, a glass manufacturer and distributor, is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi and has outlets all over the world.
