Xinyi Glass postpones Xinyi Solar listing on volatile market

China's Xinyi Glass Holdings Ltd. postponed the listing of its solar-energy unit because of turmoil in the global solar industry and capital markets, according to a Nov. 16 BusinessWeek report. The solar energy industry’s development “remains uncertain” because of “recent volatility in the global capital markets” and the European sovereign debt crisis, Xinyi Glass said in a statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange yesterday, according to the article.
