Madico Window Films Returns from IWFC 2013

The always exciting Tint-Off event had a great participation of 62 competitors for the automotive division and 25 for the flat glass division.  Madico Window Films was proud to have our sponsored dealer, Hann Kim of Song’s Tint Masters in Los Angeles, CA, take 2^nd place in the architectural window film competition!  We were also happy to see longtime Sun-Gard dealer, Caleb Silkett of Midwest Tinting, place 3^rd in the automotive tint competition.

IWFC also featured great educational sessions for window film dealers and exhibitors alike. Keynote speaker, Richard Picciotto, FDNY Chief kicked off the conference sharing his experience helping to evacuate thousands of people from the World Trade Center on 9/11.

In addition to meeting with our U.S. dealer base we also had the opportunity to host a delegation from Sun-Gard Korea that included our distributor, Mr. Chun and the top placing tinters in the Korean Tint-Off held earlier this year, as well as dealers from Belgium and Curacao.

Safety Film Installation Demonstration

Prior to the start of the successful IWFC, Madico Window films hosted an exclusive Factory Tour for dealers. Attendees listened to an informative presentation by Shawn Kitchell, Madico’s Senior V.P. of Operations, before breaking off into small groups for the Factory Tour. During the tour, guests had the opportunity to take a first-hand look at our facility and view all of our manufacturing processes from incoming raw material to production to packaging and shipping.  The leaders of each tour group were available to answer questions and make sure the group had a proper understanding of all the technical elements that are involved in making our window film products.

Following the tour, guests joined Madico Window Films staff for dinner in downtown St. Petersburg before returning back to the conference hotel in Tampa.
