McGraw Hill Construction’s Dodge Momentum Index receded slightly in June, slipping 1.5 percent from the previous month, according to a July 9 McGraw Hill release. The Index, which measures the first report of nonresidential building projects in planning, experienced six consecutive monthly increases. The June pause came after May produced the highest level for the Momentum Index since March 2009, and indicates that the rising trend for nonresidential building remains subject to the occasional setback, according to the release.
