Glass accident briefly shuts down 9/11 Memorial access

A construction accident at 4 World Trade Center temporarily shut down the 9/11 Memorial, according to a report from NY1 News. A spokesman for Silverstein Properties says a sudden gust of wind caused a steel load to hit the glass on the building's south side the morning of June 27, according to the article. Some pieces of glass fell onto Liberty Street, which was closed at the time. No injuries were reported, according to NY1 News.
