Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architectureunveiled design plans for the "Dancing Dragons," a supertall pair of towers in the Yongsan International Business District of Seoul, South Korea.The buildings consist of slender, sharply angled mini-towers cantilevered around a central core, andfeature a dramatic series of diagonal cuts that create living spaces that float beyond the structure, according to a May 11 article from the Daily Mail.
Dancing Dragons' scale-like skin actually 'breathes," according to the article. Gaps between its overlapping panels feature operable 600-mm vents through which air can circulate, it reports.
