Institutional projects account for majority of work among Top 50 Glaziers

Despite seeing a 15 percent decline in construction spending in 2011, according to McGraw-Hill, institutional buildings accounted for the majority of projects among Top 50 Glaziers last year.

Seventy-three percent of respondents to Glass Magazine's annual survey reported that more than 50 percent of their jobs in 2011 were public or institutional projects. Thirty-five percent said public or institutional jobs accounted for more than 75 percent of their work in 2011.
