Saint-Gobain and the NSG Corp. signed an agreement on March 29 in which Saint-Gobain transferred its shares of Flovetro SpA to NSG. Flovetro, which operates one flat glass manufacturing float line in San Salvo, Italy, has been jointly held 50-50 by the two groups since 1976. The transfer of shares will be made on April 2, 2012, at which point Flovetro SpA will become a wholly-owned business of NSG, according to a March 30 PRNewswire release.
