AGC Glass Company North America to implement FeneVision ERP software in 15 facilities

Officials ofAGC Glass Company North Americaannounced April 2 that it will implement FeneVision ERP software in 15 facilities. With more than 20 fabrication locations in the United States and Canada, AGC services a wide geographic area and multiple customer segments with glass products that include tempered, insulated, spandrel, laminated, back-painted and digital imaging.

“As part of our plan to update our plants with state-of-the-art technology, we knew this journey needed to begin with partnerships to support our goal to become more efficient and versatile in how we produce our products, and how we serve our customers. It was a priority for us to find a specialized software solution that would fit our needs perfectly, as well as the needs of all our businesses in North America," said Shane Sieracki, AGC manager of North American Operations, in a release. "After extensive research and evaluating a variety of solutions, we realized that FeneVision ERP, developed by Ohio-based FeneTech, was the way to go. Our team was extremely impressed with FeneTech’s detailed software demonstration. Upon visiting with more than one customer of FeneTech, we were pleased to learn how satisfied they are with the FeneVision software and what great service they receive from the FeneTech team.”

Terrie Sommers, AGC's senior director of fabricated products, added, “There were many factors considered before making our final decision. FeneVision is a very comprehensive ERP solution, very user-friendly and it is specifically designed for the fenestration industry. Furthermore, FeneTech offers an e-commerce solution to streamline service to our customers, which we could not find with any other industry related software supplier. Also, the software is Microsoft SQL Server based and fully integrated, with one central database structure, which was quite important to us.”
