Officials from Kawneer Co. announced it has combined product portfolios with its Traco division to offer a broader range of products. From curtain wall systems and entrances to windows and framing systems, Kawneer and Traco provide a range of high performing products and systems for renovation and new construction. In 2010, Traco, a manufacturer of windows since 1943, was acquired by Alcoa and became a division of Kawneer. Since then, the two businesses have been working to unite their brands in an effort to create differentiation and extend their reach beyond what was possible as two separate companies, according to a company release.
"When Traco joined Alcoa Building and Construction Systems as a division of Kawneer we were able to join two trusted brands with rich histories of innovation and had the vision that the integration would provide an even broader range of products, services and support for our customers," said Diana Perreiah, Vice President, Alcoa Building and Construction Systems and General Manager, Kawneer North America, according to the release. "Now, with a combined portfolio, we are able to offer architects and customers the opportunity to design big and build almost anything."
