AAMA honorary member Lyon Evans passes away

Architectural Aluminum Manufacturers Association honorary member Lyon D. Evans of Wausau, Wis., passed away on Dec. 8, at the age of 93, according to a Dec. 20 AAMA release. More than 65 years ago, Lyon helped form and was the key technical member of AAMA, the then new association. In 1957, he joined Hope's windows, Jamestown, N.Y., and worked there until 1975, when he moved to Wausau. He became vice president of design engineering and research with the former Wausau Metals, according to the release.
