European glass supplier Romag to invest $1.6 million in new equipment

Romag, a European supplier of solar, architectural, security and transport glass, will invest almost ￡1m (about $1.6 million) in state-of-the-art machinery unique to the United Kingdom, according to a Dec. 14 4-traders.com report. The investment is part of a wider ￡2m program that has allowed the company to expand production at its factory in Leadgate, Consett, as well as take on 20 new staff members.
