Advanced flat glass market to see 9.1 percent annual growth

Demand for advanced flat glass in the United States is forecasted to grow 9.1 percent annually, accounting for almost $7 billion, according to the "Advanced Flat Glass Market in the US" report from Research and Markets. The increase will be driven by a rebound in residential construction and motor vehicle production, in addition to increasing market penetration of low-emissivity glass, display windshields, electrochromics and other products, according to a Sept. 8 Research and Markets release.
