Arch Aluminum and Glass, ACI Glass Products (formerly Vitro Architectural Products) and United Glass Corp. have combined and re-emerged as Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions, according to a July 21 release.The new company--formed through acquisitions made by private investment firm Sun Capital Partners--will continue to service the commercial glazing market through its various fabrication facilities. Currently, it has26 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Commercial skylight manufacturer Super Sky,as well as residential window manufacturer AWP, will continue to be an essential aspect of the product portfolio moving forward, according to the release.
Fabrication of all glass systems will continue under the Envision brand. Manufacture and distribution of architectural aluminum entrances, curtain wall, window wall and framing systems will remain a core division within Trulite. In addition, the product line will continue to focus heavily on mirror; high performance, tempered, laminated and decorative glass; as well as insulating glass units, the release states.
