The U.S. Department of Energy submitted a number of proposed changes to the International Green Construction Codefor consideration at the May 16-22 public hearings in Dallas. DOE is now interested in receiving input on these proposed changes, according to a March 10 release. DOE will host a public meeting on April 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Holiday Inn (550 C Street SW) in Washington, D.C., to discuss the DOE proposed code changes, as well as all other changes proposed to Chapter 6 of the IgCC for the purpose of exploring opportunities to foster collaboration at the hearings and possibly combining changes.
