EPA recognizes Saint-Gobain with Energy Star award

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency awarded Saint-Gobain, France, the Energy Star Sustained Excellence Award. The award recognizes the company's leadership in energy management and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. Through its U.S. subsidiaries, the company becomes the first and only manufacturer of glass containers or fiber glass insulation ever to receive the award, according to a March 14 CSR Wire report.
