[U.S. economic] growth in the fourth quarter of 2010 was slower than initially reported, at an annual pace of 2.8 percent rather than the previous estimate of 3.2 percent, according to data released on Friday [Feb. 25] by the Commerce Department. Economists had been predicting an upward revision, to about 3.3 percent, according to a Feb. 25 article in The New York Times.
