Skateboarder falls 40 feet through school skylight

A 14-year-old boy who was skateboarding on the gym roof at Trabuco Hills High School fell 40-feet when he stepped on a skylight Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

The teen managed to move 40-yards across the gym floor where he landed to open a door and get help from his friends, said Orange County Sheriff's Deputy Darren Sandberg, according to an Aug.5 OCRegister report.
