Greenbelt, Md.-based National Fenestration Rating Council'sComponent Modeling Approach Ratings Subcommittee met late this afternoon [Nov. 11] and discussed a ballot concerning the NFRC 705, whichaddresses various requests to make the label certificate more useful and representative.
NFRC is hosting its Fall Membership Meeting Nov. 8-11 in San Francisco.The CMA Labeling Task Groupdeveloped a new version of the label certificate, whichwas modified to group products into categories that correspond to ASHRAE 90.1 and IECC. Modifications also include an area-weighted average for product category groups and for entire projects, according to a Nov. 11 NFRC News Now report.
