Glass pane falls 50 meters at Rocks

A pane of glass has fallen 50 meters from a building at The Rocks in Sydney's CBD.

The toughened glass pane shattered and fell from the 17th floor of a residential apartment on Harrington Street just before noon, raining small shards of glass on to the road below, Superintendent Phil Sheedy of the NSW Fire Brigades said, according to a Sept. 7 report in The Sydney Morning Herald.
