Saving green and going green: two things Coloradans are all about.
Two CU graduates and former NASA engineers had that in mind when they developed "Ravenbrick." This company is transforming the way we use the sun's heat by creating a product that lets the rays into the building when you need it, and keeps them out when you don't. By doing this, it cuts down on energy bills by 30 to 40 percent annually, therefore being more environmentally friendly as well.
"Most windows [are] either tinted or they are just a regular window. Our window changes its features based on the outside temperature," CEO Alex Burney said, according to a March 7 9News.com report.
