Mitchell Glass , a division of Mitchell International Inc., San Diego, will preview GlassMate 6.0 at this year’s Independent Glass Association 2009 Independents’ Days Conference and Spring Auto Glass Show, according toa May 6 release. GlassMate software is a point-of-sale system that delivers efficiency and automation to the auto glass repair and replacement market.
GlassMate 6.0, slated for market launch in the fourth quarter of 2009, will feature an enhanced user interface, as well as new functionality designed to address the growing needs of the AGRR industry. Of note, GlassMate 6.0 will feature “on-the-go” mobile integration capability allowing customers to access NAGS vehicles and parts information along with work order schedule information using smartphones such as Blackberry and the Apple iPhone, according to the release.
