Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, the Democratic nominee for president of the United States, will visit Schott Glass in Duryea today.
“We were told Sen. Obama will be at Schott Glass at 11:45 a.m. Friday morning,” said state Rep. John Yudichak, D-Nanticoke. “He will hold a town meeting for the employees to ask questions, then he will tour the plant,” according to a Sept. 5 timesleader.com article.
