Chisinau Glassworks may close in August

During the extraordinary meeting of shareholders Glass Container Prim has been postponed until early August consideration of the possible closing of a glass factory in Chisinau, as well as the question of making a case against the Moldovan government.

This decision was taken due to the new circumstances, which the company is silent. However, there is a perception that this is due to the fact that the government has decided to release the glass factory of payments to the state budget portion of its net profit for last year.

It is assumed that the Cabinet took this decision, given the difficult conditions of the enterprise. Note that the company had to pay a huge sum of loan, taken in the bank, but it could deprive her of the funds needed for further investment in the business.

Note that the meeting of shareholders Glass Container Prim passed on the proposal Western NIS Enterprise Fund - the majority shareholder of the company. Among the issues discussed at the meeting - a possible stop glass furnace plant, as well as the question of hiring a legal action against the nomination for the Customs Office in Chisinau. It is known that the claim will be sent to the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes.
