(China Glass Network) The prices for glass of north China have been increasing since the beginning of 2016.
After April 2016, the prices for glass in central China became stable and then rise. Compared with the prior month and the same period of last year, the glass spot price is more stable and higher. The price for glass has increased by RMR144/ton in Shahe City and grown by RMB64/ton in central China since mid-January 2016. In addition, In May the prices of glass increased by RMB24/ton in north China and grew by RMB40/ton in central China compared with last year.
It is clear to see that the production inventory drops and price rises a little under the circumstance of a slight increase in supply. There is no need to worry about the demands in glass industry. It is worth mentioning that the present time is not a peak demand season. From the latter part of the third quarter to middle of the fourth quarter, the glass market will usher in a real peak season of sales in China. At that time the demand of glass will further increase.
