This year expect to meet more than 100 suppliers to the glass industry. Exhibitors will include suppliers of batch plants and equipment, melting furnaces and refractory materials, forming equipment, annealing lehrs, ware handling products, processing equipment, inspection systems and cold end handling and packing systems.

The French glass institute - Institut du Verre – will be running a free conference on both days, focusing on two themes: Energy and environment and modelling concepts. The conference, like the exhibition, is free to attend and features an opening presentation by Guy Tackels of Saint-Gobain Conceptions Verrieres. Mr Tackels, Environmental Affairs Director at Saint-Gobain, will provide an overview of EU legislation as it affects glassmakers today. Go to
