Domestic PV Enterprises Response to EU Anti-dumping Investigation

 (China Glass Network)  European Union Commission ha announced to launched an investigation into dumping of PV products including PV components, silicon wafer, battery by Chinese producers. A number of PV Enterprises of China have issued statements and response to the anti-dumping investigation.

 

News release of Yingli Solar announced that the anti-dumping complaint subject to EU in July this year on Chinese solar products is ill founded. Suntech Power said that they are trying to verify the survey of relevant specifications and cooperate with the investigation committee. The company also holds the opinion that trade protection will increase cost of European PV energy, and will harm the whole PV industry of Europe. Announcement issued by Trina Solar also hold the same opinion.

 

According to statement issued by the European commission, the products scope into anti-dumping investigation is wider than that launched by the U.S and hundreds of domestic PV enterprise are involved in it. EU will select sampling enterprises by scale, exporting quantity and value according to the anti-dumping procedures, the sampling enterprises may have chance to get individual anti-dumping tax rate.
