America University Developed New Type of Non-fog and Easy-cleaning Coating

(China Glass Network) Scientist of PurdueUniversity recently developed one kind of new type glass coating which solved the problem of non-cleaning sun glass and fogging of windshield.

Characteristics of glass make it easy fog and grease, so that it can not be cleaned easily.

In hence, scientist of PurdueUniversity developed two cover coatings. It contained one hydrophilic agent which could absorb water in the bottom; the upper includes molecule which could avoid passing of grease.

This coating has a main advantage of self-cleaning.

The scientist pointed out that the coating can be used in filter as well as windshield, mirror and glasses. Water can go through the coating and grease can not pass. The testing showed that the filter treated by the coating could remove ninety-five percent of greasy dirt compared with untreated filter which is only five percent.

He expected that the coating may be placed on the store shelves in four or five years.
