McGraw-Hill Constructionreports that January contracts for future nonresidential construction in the metropolitan statistical area of Washington-Arlington-Alexandria declined significantly over January 2012. According to the Research and Analytics unit of McGraw-Hill Construction, the latest month's nonresidential construction activity in Washington-Arlington-Alexandria followed this pattern:
