Delmac Machinery to merge with SCM Group North America

Delmac Machinery, Greensboro, N.C.,will merge into SCM Group North America, Duluth, Ga.,on April 4, according to a March 2 release. Two independently successful companies, each with a reputation as an industry leader in the supply of high technology manufacturing equipment, will now work together as a team with one common goal.

After the merge, the companies will operate under one name: SCM Group North America Inc.

Delmac Machinery Group has been operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of SCM Group, Italy, since 2006. Delmac will maintain its Greensboro showroom and service facility for the brands Busellato and Casadei, which will be marketed through a separate distribution network. The Celaschi, IDM, OMAL and Bonacin brands will be transitioned into SCM's Atlanta office and marketing through this sales channel. Delmac will continue to support its existing Mayer panel saw customers with service and parts.Most of Delmac's contact information will remain the same. Company reps will advisecustomers of any new contact information.
